The EU Methane Regulations (EUMR)

The EU Methane Regulation (EUMR) requires oil and gas importers to the EU to meet strict standards for measuring, reporting, and reducing methane emissions.

Starting in 2025, companies must report data from all upstream suppliers, with strict MRV requirements coming into effect starting January 2027.
