Dr. Foued Badrouchi is an Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Montana Tech with academic and industry experience in drilling engineering, wellbore mechanics, drilling optimization, and intelligent drilling systems.
Prior to academia, he worked in the oil and gas industry on drilling engineering and performance-improvement projects. His teaching and research focus on connecting drilling physics with field execution, including hole cleaning, stuck-pipe prevention, drilling hydraulics, wellbore mechanics, automation, and data-driven operational decision support.
