Colleen has sixteen years of professional experience in energy and integrated sciences. Her expertise includes traditional oil and gas as well as low carbon renewable fuels. As Senior Technical Advisor at Wheelhouse Geoscience, Colleen manages all client geosteering functions, including the development and teaching of in-house geosteering courses for private and mid-sized E&Ps. She has also authored company-wide training material in geosteering for a large independent E&P with premier assets in west and south Texas. Colleen has worked in geologically diverse plays throughout the continental United States and Canada, serving in both operational and developmental roles. She developed a geosteering specialty through experience with ‘live’ operations, and application of ‘batch’ retroactive geosteering to enhance resolution of the subsurface. Over the years, she has produced geosteering models for several hundred wells in dozens of plays. Colleen has earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Oregon, a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Northern Arizona, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
