Dr. Rutherford is the Director of Research and Development at Highwood, where he leads efforts to ensure that Highwood’s products and services remain at the forefront of GHG emissions management science. With a strong background in methane science, Dr. Rutherford specializes in developing innovative software solutions that leverage methane data to provide Measurement-Informed Inventory support for leading operators. Dr. Rutherford holds a PhD focused on the bottom-up simulation of GHG emissions inventories and the controlled release testing of methane quantification technologies. His expertise lies in bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications, driving advancements in methane management and greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
