This course provides a comprehensive, practical understanding of most techniques used in land, shallow water and deepwater exploration. It aims to focus on seismic design and operational techniques applied by E&P Operators. The course is suited for E&P professionals with no or limited experience in seismic acquisition and exploration geophysics, but with basic experience in the E&P industry.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
• Better understand the seismic operations process with focus on benefits and limitations of seismic exploration.
• Gain an insight into: seismic design, acquisition, field operations and data QC.
• Acquire the fundamental principles of seismic and reservoir geophysics.
