Applied Petrophysics and Log Analysis

19:27 Hours
Well logs are one of the primary data sources available to geoscientists and engineers and are the basis for estimations of several reservoir properties. In this course you will gain knowledge about several methods for determining reservoir properties, and how to integrate those methods into your subsurface evaluation workflow. In this course you will learn how to perform estimations of clay volume, TOC content, mineral volumes, porosity, fluid saturations, and reservoir cutoffs. Additionally, this course will cover calibrating your analysis to core properties, QC’ing interpretations, “quick look” interpretations, and a high level overview of tool theory.
